Cheese and Bacon Turnover Recipe


Ingredients:

Puff Pastry (pre-rolled)
Grated Cheese
2 Rashers of bacon per turnover
Egg for glazing



Step 1

Pre-heat over to 190 Degrees

Step 2 

Roll the dough into a rough square and cut into four smaller squares

Step 3

Place the rashers of bacon on the square diagonally add a handful of cheese on top of the bacon

Step 4

Egg wash both corners of the pastry to ensure the pastry sticks firm

Step 5

fold over the corner covering the filling, then fold over the remaining corner encasing the filling

Step 6

Egg wash over the top of the pastry to give it an even golden colour once cooked 

Step 7 

Place into a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the pastry has risen and is golden brown
